where are you going?

oh precious soul,
priceless
where are you going?

… speak to me.

with your mysterious vision
your body–its inflections,
its words

you come to depend
that it’s always
listening

fly now into
your life
which drizzles
like the wind, cleansing

it. all. matters.

it all matters
my fragile soul broken, speaks
to me
hiding once…

don’t you realize that
we are already healed?

delicate you are, beautiful moment
elapsing yet not
your possibility never forgotten
saved in my heart, as you…

the flower that i pass
knows how to live
as time stops
in its waltz

it tells me–hide with me
in my competence
that needs no prestige
only being,
only tenderness

to the end of the road

words only take me to the end of the road… where feelings are footpaths… but, opening me to you and you to me… i miss you when you go… i am yours… sing to me anyway… never forget that your tears are your soul…

reason realized

you are my soul…

i see you as i am inside
looking out
to feel
with your magical sight
positioning yourself
to give me eyes

but still i ask
who are you anyway?
i know what i know what i don’t have
do you?

you have spaces
that my spaces fit in always
leaving me speechless
you are precious and tough
i’m reaching for you

you are a smile that lasts from the first light
to the last dream of you
and for you…

to see you is to hear you
knowing this about me
ever-changing as you read
my mind
to bring me my finest moments

and so i speak to you
we are reason realized
my world inside
as my tiny roots blend with you

find a way to show me

as soon as i think i know
then i remember
that i don’t…

you’re already there
don’t forget
who you are

i won’t turn anything on
or off
can i just be me?

can’t you try to keep your soul
and fill your heart
but not take mine?

you mean let the ground speak
through my feet?

you’re irresistible to me
in ways that i cannot tell

find a way
to show me

your internal dialogs: learning by talking to yourself

Do you often speak internally to another person as if you have direct access to each other’s thoughts?  Are you fueled by the language that speaks to you inside your mind?  Is this dialog a way for you to make things right simply within your mind with certain people?

It is easy to speak the secrets of your soul when you speak to yourself. First, your heart needs to be open so that you are able to feel the truth of what you really feel.

You have a story to tell.  You can read it, listen to it, and live in it as you would your favorite book.

You have many channels to your heart.  The trick is to find yours–the ones that undeniably open every time.

Find the universal presence, spirit or love that resonates most with you and feel it hold you like a warm blanket.  Then speak to it.  Let it tell you, as a mirror, what you have to say.

You might hear questions such as “Why are you mad at me?” , “What did I do wrong?” and Why do you love me?”

If you visit your child self, you might find a version of you looking back as if she/he has known you all your life (it’s true), asking you if you ever pay attention to her/him?  She/He might whisper a secret to you that you have never heard.

You are not crazy.  You have a lot to say.  Just listen with open ears.  Be still and silent… and the messages are more clear.

Listen to what your internal dialogs tell you.  You could discover the unknown you’ve been search for all your life inside you.  It could change your life…

diving deep into my fears

I am now facing my fears… going off the edge to find myself in the depth of who I am.  If I am bold enough and I don’t turn back, this action will set me free.

In the dark shadows, I might sail through my depths as if a dream and find the silence I need in order to find the keys I have searched for all my life.  The best stuff is at the very bottom.

More conspicuous and offset against the darkness, the gems and secrets will be easier to see or feel.  Sometimes they will shine with luminosity like a beacon, and they have my name on them!

Maybe the bottom is a bed of soft sand which I can dig my bare feet into and feel rooted in myself like never before.  I can call it the ground of my soul.  To touch this part of me is to release all that I previously imagined was hidden.

It will then transform itself, no longer in the dark, if I invite it to be a part of my waking, conscious being.

Freedom lies in moving into those places that scare us most. We hold those fears not only in our unconscious minds;  they show up in one form or another in our bodies.

I intend to isolate the manifestation of my fears as they disguise themselves and ail me with tension.  Like an instinctual animal would, I will shake it off to get it out of me.

I will not let the ailment which arises define who I am. My blood, or my chi (Chinese medicine), should move freely and uninhibited as it bathes me with its life force.

Yoga and meditation help me.  Yoga nidra is a guided visualization that takes one into the state of “wakeful” deep sleep.  It is a sleep-like state that includes relaxation as well as the psychology of dream, sleep and yoga.  This was a helpful guide to me just today.

Inspired by freediver Guillaume Nery and an amazing yoga class I just took today.

a whispering of words to your soul

As yoga speaks the poetry of your body, words speak the poetry of your soul. Yoga and words go well together.  Remember that any type of activity can also be a way of living your yoga.

No doubt you are no stranger to a community of poets and those who like to verbally relay their words to others.  Many have a vibrant and active lifestyle to go along with this love of words, don’t they!  The two seem to go together well…

Like the wind off a clear blue lake blows its answers to the mountains, take time to whisper the secrets to your heart, listening to every touch with your sacred ears. Sit and listen as the words write themselves onto the page. There are no mistakes here. It is all a rendition of your truth that you write down to share, so that you can touch… something other than the normal, regular you.

As you move the prana (i.e., your life force) in your body, working through the chakras and experience your purpose in the moment, your desires, your energy and your heart, you will most likely find the words of your soul whispering to you gently.

As you continue moving, whether it be in a yoga practice, a hike, or some other means of moving your body, you eventually can surrender to this energy you’ve activated as it clears out all that gets in the way of knowing your true intuitions and spirit connection. This will probably happen whether you are paying attention or not.  In fact, there is no will required for this endeavor.  Just be who you are.

If you’re really in tune with the feelings moving through you, you can see, hear, sense and know through your watchfulness that it is possible that you actually really know who you are.

Yes, it’s true.  So, don’t refuse to whisper these words. You will undoubtedly touch someone, even unsuspectingly, if not a very important person: you. Even if you only reach one person, besides yourself, this journey through words is all worth it.

And if you find that no words come to you, then receive the gift of the inability to find words. 🙂

Namaste.

receive your gift

We go to yoga class. We start the class by making an intention. Then what?

Do we hold true to its energy every second of the class? No. We tuck it away in our heart and let it speak its own words to our soul.

For, the energy of a wish comes from within us and can hardly hide its wings when we are moving the prana as we move our bodies in twists and waves.

What we feel comes from within. Before the words even articulate themselves to our being, we know what it is we are trying to say.

Sometimes we are silenced. Sometimes this is a blessing. In this inability to find words, our soul is telling us to go deeper. Look into the still pond of your being. Do not always rely on words. Look to the swirling space that doesn’t want to hear your words and give it your thanks.

There is more to living.

Namaste.

unspoken

unspoken words
speak above
emptying your soul
to me
but i know your secrets
i’m in you

the missing stone on your path
find me at the edge
near the bridge i see you on now
in the cold

you see me waiting
with your words
don’t ever change who you are

lumière

in my mind
i see much that is false
but when your light
ta lumière

shines upon me, upon you
like a star, étoile brillante
the false, the imprisoned
dissolves
and all that remains is
that which is authentic
and true
untouchable
the unbelievable truth…

look through the window,
my dear
this magic
detects only that which
can survive the darkest days
and nights
it removes the rest
leaving us with
all that we dreamed
to see the end, look at the beginning
it whispers to you
–>> remember us.

please use your light
t r u s t  it…
to light our path
that we walk together
hand in hand
to light our soul that we built
with blind faith and two bottomless hearts ❤ <3.
