the mere fact
that i existed
seemed to
drive your heart
and give you courage
to travel
an ocean of time to find me
just to touch me
just to breathe my breath
once

when i am touched, the words all write themselves.
Poignant piece, capturing the need for touch, for one love to another.
yes, although it can be beautiful for a time to feel it, touching it takes over 😉
