it was already yours

will you catch me
if i fall?
i am jaded by my past that haunts me
the wild are free
and unpredictable
and contagious
and luring

yes

i always love their mirrors
that show me
myself

it was already yours…

  1. Falling without fear into the luminous ocean. Dancing with laughter as we drown.
How else shall the human worm
    die free?
It is meant to be like this.
    We have forgotten.

    Mirrors flashing in mirrors…
“the face we had before the world was made”
    with crinkly eyes smiles.

We have forever been, all of us,
    ours.

  2. It has been said that we love that in others which reminds us of ourselves..I hope your love will/would catch you if you fell, and I can imagine that you would do the same. 🙂 Lovely write.

  3. Hello.
    I’m visiting from Poetry Picnic.

To see ourselves in the eyes of love & to know (s)he will always be there for us, no matter what trial or tribulation might befall us is something truly special.

    Magical write.
    Thanks for sharing & visiting.
