velvet moon

like a dream you wander
through the side of you
that gathers shadows best

but it’s in the time
in between moments
that scratch at you
and die off as ashes,
your secret revealed
when i sleep

your path is you, you know
so follow it

  1. I love the soft, lulling quality of the poem and the concept about the space between moments is something that has always intrigued me. The end too how we are reflected in our actions and how we have an inherent sense of where we belong and who we are. In fact its intrinsic and inseparable from us Lovely
