a response

what do you think of
when you fall, slowly through a mystery
looking through
the eyes
of me?

you feel
your way to me
as steam
seeping…
in your way
that holds it all
together
somehow
a prize

ever emerging
all sides
of you
choose the
one in your now
who is
in between
your dark night
your early dawn
rising
because it knows
what to do
…next
is it the
mystery
u n f o l d i n g
its view
its paradox
that chooses
without limits
to protect you?

where are you now
in this moment, i ask
climbing a ladder to a distant cloud
that only i know…
floating on a bubble under a wave of life?
you are crazy
with the mystery you breathe
you are the pure energy
of love
… fire mixed with water
and raindrops inside sand
you are tears and joy forever intertwined
like a bird not knowing his wings
still… after all
you know you are
the one who saved me from a distant paradise
and you are true

create me like i created you
in the space
which lies deeper than you know
it is where, you see,
i first found
the concept of your
decision
to think outside your unexpected life
and roar instead
impactful.
i sighed

as the mist, its vapors
turns my air
to its breath
i can feel that i knew you
once
before i knew…
you burned me
with your fire
inside:
i have always known you
and even when i did know
i didn’t know yet
yet i knew too…
that all along
you were building a mystery
that had dissolved into me

you can try to fool me
fool me not
but maybe at morning
as the day begins to remind me
that day can be night if i let it
or i can move backwards
through time
deceptions as distractions
flowing through my brain
when it believes that maybe chaos does rule the world
try me, try to fool me, maybe once…
and then maybe, i’ll go to the other leftside of the moon later

can i face you, ghost
and know everything
that what isn’t said
could be
but is masked instead in a mist…
its chosen way
lose yourself
in me
when you feel you see me
but don’t
a side of me, you follow
gone like mist, maybe sleeping
eyes lost
given
proudly to you
and for you

you brought me up
from the shadows
a mystery of parts
crying
a voice heard only
by the ground
healing
through air,
now whole…
balanced on me
to float
in your way you
could see what others did not
within the cells behind parts
how?

i see you as i am inside
looking out
to feel
with your magical sight
positioning yourself
to give me eyes
but still i ask
who are you anyway?
i know what i know what i don’t have
do you?
you have spaces
that my spaces fit in always
leaving me speechless
you are precious and tough
i’m reaching for you
you are a smile that lasts from the first light
to the last dream of you
and for you…
to see you is to hear you
knowing this about me
ever-changing as you read
my mind
to bring me my finest moments
and so i speak to you
we are reason realized
my world inside
as my tiny roots blend with you

empower me to empower you
you know, the way your roots reach into me
like feathers on a journey
to find themselves
find me where you would not
think to imagine
remember i’m an enigma
i’m a mystery that floats in
the shadows,
t h e u n k n o w n
and sometimes, it’s strange
but i can feel the moments
when a secret begins…

you are a mystery and a mind who flies
among thoughts, reacting to time
in a body, yet not… memories
only a part of you because
you know there’s a space
between, that is silent
it will heal you if
you let it
speak
and know
you, before you do
for a reason unknown
but do it anyway because
it is your trip through life
we are more real every day

tell me how you do it
remaining
still
yet luring
silent…
pulsing
as a mystery
i asked for long ago
you know
i prefer no answer
because i know you
are not done yet
telling the truth
and are as honest
as the way
you were
when i first knew
in that fine moment
that with you
how could you not
be a secret…
you sighed through the sky
and i heard you say that
i’m still here
you are priceless

you sparkle
with your gift
i slept next to you
last night
you are my wish, you know
and you are mine
where are you now
in this moment
stepping lightly
through misty time
with a fire not forgotten?
you say, don’t rush it
but stay on the edge:
your whisper…
to you i respond, i believe you
my secret:
your innuendo...
it’s time
to open the door
if ever so slightly
to me
i am here
and i knew you
before
i knew you were coming

are you a dream come true
like the ageless mist
with its hue?
you are the wind that keeps me moving
the force that guides me to know…
that it will all be ok
no matter what.
close your eyes now
remember the time when
i last whispered in your ear
and held you tight.
remember me that way.
that way, only.
it is how i remember you.

do you know where you are going?
now or later
doesn’t matter
because it is the time in between that matters
the disoriented moments
contemplative you are
where you are alone
now, today, tomorrow
or some day
remembering what you thought would come to you in this moment
but doesn’t
where you open your eyes
and see only cloudiness
b e p a t i e n t… for clarity
they are the best
misty moments
you’ve ever seen
