on the edge of a secret
i fly
i can try to close some part of me,
but a single laugh will open it
as quickly as i shut
and a moment
can whisper a pathway
i want you to know
everything
i’m an inch from telling you
i think of you

It is amazing
how so little words
can carry such an extension
of crystal love…
yes, agreed. i can spend an entire day and 30 pages worth writing and editing down to a few words.. and then i know it’s perfect. thanks for noticing 🙂

Few words express such depth. Beautiful write.
yes, lots to be left to the imagination and uniqueness of every reader 🙂
This is glorious…the edge of a secret…and once shared, it’s a secret no more. I loved this!
My potluck: so maybe
Yes, once shared it changes but it was always a secret 🙂
Great short poem packed with all great lines!
thank you…. it wrote itself..
Well crafted poem!
A small suggestion- lose the last line and it sounds even better.
well i thought of that… to make it more mysterious. but then i thought it added some boldness (with a simple powerful statement) to just say it at the end… i like it this way best 😉
