i’m listening with my heart

you said you love me and then …
and then i breathe
inhale you
to find that your ‘no’ now is really fear
afraid of trusting the moment unfolding

the moment is beautiful, don’t you see
when i’m with you i see, i trust
when we’re apart sometimes it’s hard for me
it is like a bird flying away that i cannot capture
light yet i have a cage

trust me to return to you
i trust you
i’m on my way back already

you are weak and need me now most
i’m afraid to say so
you want to be in control and the one who decides
not the invisible hand of destiny
softly, she touches my life..
she knows you
yes, she is who i recognize in you

you leave me now with no voice
i am here to listen to your heart’s whisper
shhhhhhh
i feel your heart
silence is real

is this me? moving toward, moving away…

So what does wholeness look like to me? I thought this summary I played with recently was a wonderful way to describe my view on this subject.  For it is when I am depicting all of these words at once, as taken from my personal blog I write here (generated by a tool called Wordle), that I feel most whole.

I can get a cue as to what I avoid in life, in my search for wholeness, if I watch what it is I try to withhold to others in my conversations. These are my truths which I run from and hide even from myself, as I lack confidence to orate them. The fear is controlled by my unconscious.  These are the inner truths that point to my fear of being who I truly am, as Neil Legault quotes:

Catch yourself trying to avoid telling someone your truth about yourself and you will see how you hide yourself from life.  This is the pointer that shows you your fear of being who you truly are.

I seek to bring myself into wholeness by merging my mind with my spiritual beliefs.  The two act aside each other naturally, and when the dark clouds come, I have to work diligently in meditation to remember the sun is always shining above it — something greater than me.

in the mirror

i see myself
blurred
in the mirror

as you gather
my hair together
and wrap it around your wrist
for a moment
i am your p r i s o n e r…

eyes glassy i gaze
at a layering
of all my previous days
and all the time that is coming
and suddenly
i feel as if
i’ve become
invisible…

my flame

flames
have a mind of their own
as they
silently listen
call to you
speak your name
invite you to gaze
into their
burn that
knows your secrets

i am listening now
and i set you on fire
to the beat of your glow
you wish for me
i am here
now blow out your candle
and feel what i say

a whispering of words to your soul

As yoga speaks the poetry of your body, words speak the poetry of your soul. Yoga and words go well together.  Remember that any type of activity can also be a way of living your yoga.

No doubt you are no stranger to a community of poets and those who like to verbally relay their words to others.  Many have a vibrant and active lifestyle to go along with this love of words, don’t they!  The two seem to go together well…

Like the wind off a clear blue lake blows its answers to the mountains, take time to whisper the secrets to your heart, listening to every touch with your sacred ears. Sit and listen as the words write themselves onto the page. There are no mistakes here. It is all a rendition of your truth that you write down to share, so that you can touch… something other than the normal, regular you.

As you move the prana (i.e., your life force) in your body, working through the chakras and experience your purpose in the moment, your desires, your energy and your heart, you will most likely find the words of your soul whispering to you gently.

As you continue moving, whether it be in a yoga practice, a hike, or some other means of moving your body, you eventually can surrender to this energy you’ve activated as it clears out all that gets in the way of knowing your true intuitions and spirit connection. This will probably happen whether you are paying attention or not.  In fact, there is no will required for this endeavor.  Just be who you are.

If you’re really in tune with the feelings moving through you, you can see, hear, sense and know through your watchfulness that it is possible that you actually really know who you are.

Yes, it’s true.  So, don’t refuse to whisper these words. You will undoubtedly touch someone, even unsuspectingly, if not a very important person: you. Even if you only reach one person, besides yourself, this journey through words is all worth it.

And if you find that no words come to you, then receive the gift of the inability to find words. 🙂

Namaste.

we continue

be the lightning in me
that strikes relentless
wings outstretched
you speak to me
but what if i never see you
again as you are now
yet you have all-seeing ability
like a prophecy

i ride you now
like the wind and sun
the place in which we started
we continue
la façon dont nous avons commence
avons continuons
malgré tout,
tu as toujours aimé moi

in the fire

the signs never cease
to tell me
still you are here.
i want you to tell me though
that you still want me here
because you are lost now
and i feel it.
do you want me to stand
in the fire with you
and be the moon that shines
on your path?
your path now is like
an answer for me
even as you take
the wrong path
to find the right
where you know who you are
never running.
i am done with our other journey
where you close
expecting me to open you.

unspoken

unspoken words
speak above
emptying your soul
to me
but i know your secrets
i’m in you

the missing stone on your path
find me at the edge
near the bridge i see you on now
in the cold

you see me waiting
with your words
don’t ever change who you are

space

space
giving him
air to breathe
me, himself, us
the clouds will part
the moment he opens
again… when he cannot
imagine this life without me
when he forgives with no conditions
his wind will reach me and caress the back
of my neck… and will tell me “you will know, love,
when i am in the sky coming back to you… don’t worry”

lumière

in my mind
i see much that is false
but when your light
ta lumière

shines upon me, upon you
like a star, étoile brillante
the false, the imprisoned
dissolves
and all that remains is
that which is authentic
and true
untouchable
the unbelievable truth…

look through the window,
my dear
this magic
detects only that which
can survive the darkest days
and nights
it removes the rest
leaving us with
all that we dreamed
to see the end, look at the beginning
it whispers to you
–>> remember us.

please use your light
t r u s t  it…
to light our path
that we walk together
hand in hand
to light our soul that we built
with blind faith and two bottomless hearts ❤ <3.

from here

from here
in the space absent of you
i have more power to give.

erased are your doubts
gone is the pressure
to be more than i am
for now i can see
that in you, you saw
a perfect soul
and it was me.

your answer to life was me
all questions answered
since the first day i came
into your heart
and i in you
you are a resonance
of my perfect heart
beating
you looked after me like a brother
a best friend.

i find now
that in letting go of something
there is a hidden treasure
to be found
in the experience.

i have found what means the most.

not without

you are a gift to my world
do you know that?
i will follow you
to the end.
would the stars give me you,
the one i have searched for
all my life,
without also showing me
the way,
the secret
to find you
in my life?
i whispered to you
you took my hand
together we moved forward
to discover the wonders of
yes.
