on the pathway to greatness
realized, by your form
and your flow
the way it washes into me
especially when i’m not looking

I felt like I was lying on the beach, listening to the waves as the verse flowed into my mind 🙂 nice one Robin!
My Post Is Here
me too… i tried to create that. the photo by http://www.simeonschatz.com really gave me the vibes to create this one 🙂
Your words have a way of washing over everyone that reads them.
thanks for that analogy… 😉
I played with the idea of an allegory, but if that is not the case I just imagine the sound of the sea.
allegory, yes… multiple meanings…
stunning words.
🙂
thanks, jingle… stunning moment too
Its awesome when the ones around us support us and know our true inspiration..and encourage us to grow.. “wave on wave” in the words of Pat Green
Kudos~~ Jen
yes it is awesome 😉
Lovely layers hidden in the brevity of this piece. Wonderfully done ~ Rose

God truly touches our souls when we are not looking-
many feelings do 🙂
Awwwwwww………. 🙂 Words like bullets! Or shall I say, like waves? Lovely!
yes, like both 😉
Walking the beaches, listening to the wind and gulls, just loving all that is there. Excellent.
me too… i love this photo by http://www.simeonschatz.com it totally set the vibe for the poem 😉
I especially like the photograph. I’ll be at a beach tomorrow night for sunset. Thjat’s a happy thought.
enjoy…
yes, it’s a stellar photo (i’ll tell sim, the photographer, you liked it )
if you take away the phote, it could be anything…than you out it back and it brings it sharply into focus!
🙂
nice idea… yes, the photo (especially with close focus on the grass and blurred ocean) really does something to these words… in fact, the photo came first before i brought on the words
Great job — I like the little twist at the end.
thanks, me too 🙂
Aha. The ending is a sweet tang to an otherwise tame poem :). I love it.
glad you enjoyed…. sometimes the ending is everything and can totally change it up 🙂
short and poignant. lovely.
thanks, sometimes less is more
short and to the point with lots of room to imagine.
thanks! =)
the best poems are seen by each person in their own way, with lots of room to imagine… such a nice compliment. thank you
Loved this blog and your poem! “especially when I’m not looking” is fitting closure to your poem. The photograph is beautiful and appropriate. I like how it connects to your poem.
thanks, i take pride in my blog and am happy that the overall look inspires 🙂 the photographer simeon schatz rules…

thank you… there’s a lot of power in not always “looking” 😉
Short and sweet, but straight to the point. Lovely 🙂
my specialty… 🙂
Quite spiritual. http://wp.me/p1puNG-4X
always on my mind
Like what you talk about the way it washes into you. It’s a very pleasant image.
thank you.. for me too 🙂
I like to think brevity is the soul of expression as well as wit. So much said in the fewest words. Very nice.
me too… glad you concur 😉
This is a very peaceful poem. I like the curiousity of awareness when not directly observing.
always curious and aware… glad you noticed 😉
